Everyone’s got their favourite obscure rare ass horror game from the PS2 era, and I’ve decided to claim Kuon (九怨) as mine. It was another Demenfaux game (refer to my old Silent Hill posts lol) and I could actually pick out a good bit of symbolism in this one and make a bit of sense of things through them based on my knowledge from other games and... ya know, many teenage years of listening to edgy Vocaloid songs LOL. And, well, what a wild ride from start to end is all I can say. Lots of WTF moments in this game. And fun fact! It’s a Fromsoftware title! And if you’ve been around for a while, you know how much I love Fromsoftware games. Though Hidetaka Miyazaki had nothing to do with this game at all, but the aesthetic of the game felt pretty familiar to me in some regard.
